Offered here is a Vintage Oak Premiere 2 cent coin operated trading card vending machine that has been complete disassembled and beautifully restored, made in 1956. The front is embossed: "PREMIERE GUM AND CARD VENDOR...MFG. BY OAK MFG. CO INC., CALIFORNIA." The machine works like new and looks as good. It comes with two complete sets of trading cards in mint unused condition. Also includes keys to open the TOP (to re-stock the machine) and BOTTOM, to remove the coins. This is a 2-cent machine - it takes TWO pennies. It has the correct inside mounted water release decal on the center glass. One side dispenses "1966 Batman" cards, the other side dispenses "1962 Mars Attacks!" cards. Both of the card sets were made by TOPPS Chewing Gum Co. You will get all 143 original batman cards, series 1,2, and 3, these are the deluxe reissued set from 1989 with exacting detail front and back, this is a new unused set. You will also receive a complete 50 year anniversary set of "Mars Attacks!" the original 55 cards produced in 1962, also new and unused. It appears that this machine has been in storage since the early 1970's. I would call the overall condition near mint. Has new old stock inside mount water release 2 cent decal installed, chrome is all near mint with the mech. face having been re chromed. Has new feet installed. The biggest flaw is a small ding on the back of the machine. Includes the 2 removable weights inside, (one for each side) that rest on top of the cards. When 2 pennies are inserted, and the handle is turned, the top of a card comes out (it alternates sides) and a gumball is dispensed. I have tested it and the functions perfectly.
