Bed Quilt - Antique (1970's) - Yoyo style - $285 - (Kamuela, HI)

This antique quilt was made in the 1970's by hospital patients in St. Lucia, West Indies. The quilt technique is called Yo-yo, which is very time consuming when hand stitched as this one is. It is made from about 3,348 material pieces (4 are missing). It has been hardly used and never had a backing but one could be easily added. It measures 96" x 84"
