Big Foster Farrell VI The Outsiders David Morse tv series 1/6 12" figure - $60 - (Osage City, KS)
This is a custom 12" figure commemorating one of my favorite fictional characters on (WGN) television, "Big" Foster Farrell VI on the tv series The Outsiders. Big Foster is played by David Morse. The Outsiders is set in the Appalachian Mountains and a fictional town in Kentucky. The Farrells are a clan of people that have lived in the Appalachians for generations and have very little contact with outsiders or normal society. The series starts with Asa Farrell (played by Joe Anderson) returning to the mountains after a ten year absence to serve in the military and discover what the outside world is like. Because of his leaving he is mistrusted by members of the family and immediately at odds with Big Foster. Big Foster is the oldest son of the tribe's Bren'in (leader) Lady Raye Farrell (played by Phyllis Somerville). Lady Raye is believed to have mystical powers and is very respected as the clan's leader. Big Foster is the most powerful man in the clan but he wants more. Big Foster wants to be Bren'in to lead the clan in a different way. There are several other interesting characters in this story as well as a mining company that wants to mine the Farrell's mountain. if you like a good story and a show that is a little different check out the Outsiders on WGN. Please note: although this figure does not look exactly like Big Foster / David Morse there is a bit of a resemblance and the figure displays well. This figure would make a nice addition to any collection. sold as is.
