40" x 40" x 34.25" Tombstone For Machining Center, 5 Sided Cube, Block - $1,500 - (Oshkosh, WI)
One machining tombstone for sale. It has spent most of its life in storage and saw little use if any, but it is being sold as used as it is not perfect and has some surface rust as shown in pictures. It has been oiled and shrink wrapped to prevent further rust. It has several small dings on one edge. It is sold as is. Each side of the cube is approximately 1 3/8" thick. The cube is 40 3/16" square and 34 1/4" tall including the base. The base is 2" thick and 50" square. This cube has 2 pattern designs. The diagonal pattern with holes spaced at 1 inch are on 2 sides and the top. The other pattern is on the other 2 sides. Each of the 5 sides is divided into 4 quadrants with a 3/8 wide slot. I do not know the tolerances that this tombstone was made to, but it appears flat using a 2' straight edge. The stated weight of the block is 3,640 pounds. This item is local pick up only. I have a forklift to load the unit onto an appropriately sized flatbed truck or trailer. If you have any questions please ask them before purchasing. Thanks.
