Graduate student - (Spring, TX)
To whom it may concern, As a 1st year political science graduate student, I have yet to find a project that I am passionate about. I have recently been accepted to present at the Midwest Political Science Association conference in April 2018 and greatly hope that I am able to advance the Political Science field, as I believe it is of great necessity in these times. I am a recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. I continued on to stay at the University of Oklahoma to continue my education as a graduate student within the Political Science Department. As a journalism undergraduate, I was a reporter for The Huffington Post and an Oklahoma newspaper corporation. I particularly captured a millennial’s perspective of the 2016 Election. I traveled to Iowa, Washington D.C, Texas, Pennsylvania and Ohio. I attended both national conventions, and spent 3 weeks in Iowa during caucus time.
