Canon 1014 XL-S Super 8 Max 8 Camera - refurbished by Pro8mm in 2010 - $450 - (Winnetka, IL)

I purchased this camera from Pro8mm 6 and a half years ago. Pro8mm rebuilds the camera and puts in an extra wide "Max8" gate. This means that it shoots a bigger picture closer to a widescreen format than a normal Super 8 camera. It runs on AA batteries. I've used it a couple of times a year for the last 6 years. It's still in great shape. I've always had a filter on the lens to protect the glass. This is the best Super 8 camera you can buy.
