Vintage Advent Prodigy Tower Cabinets With 8" Sansui Woofers - $200 - (Middleburg, FL)
The original Advent woofers are gone. If you are familiar with Advent speakers from this decade, then you know the foam was very poor quality and never held up, the cones weren't much better. The tweeters are still perfect, but I did put in a pair of early eighties Sansui speakers in them; which I think look much better than the flat black Advent's anyway. The Sansui's still sound great, and have that awesome silver middle. The only issue with them is the black outer ring came off a little in two places so that area has been colored in; nothing that affected their sound though since it's not on the actual cone. The towers measure 28.75in tall, 10in wide, and 9in deep. The wood has some minor scratches, but all can be touched up if desired, but they still look good. Each cabinet weighs about 23lbs, so shipping is up there; unless your near the 32068 area for pick up.
