DID YOU KNOW: The corners that are missing on Red Seal $2 notes, were removed purposely. It was believed that if the owner of the note, were to remove a corner from the note, it would prevent the owner from having bad luck. Once the note was passed to another owner, it was common for the next owner to remove another corner, until all corners were removed. Note: Currency photographed by camera or scanner, may look a little better in the picture, than they actually are.
