WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY OPERATOR II/OPERATOR TRAINEENew Hanover Township Authority, Montgomery County, PA seeks a skilled and experienced individual to serve as its Wastewater Operator II/Operator Trainee. This successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of tasks required to ensure proper operation and maintenance of the WWTP facilities and collection system. The individual will receive training in the procedures used to perform position responsibilities. Previous wastewater background is desirable but will train. FT, 40 hrs/wk with OT required when needed. Participate in on-call rotation. Must be able to perform manual labor and lift 80lbs. Possess a PA DEP Wastewater System Class B Subclass 1,4 Operator Certification or the expertise to acquire within six months. A valid PA valid drivers license B with air brakes and tanker endorsement and clean driving history or the expertise to acquire within 6 mnths. Must pass drug/alcohol/physical exam.
