The sword exhibits several casting flaws in the blade, which is in very good condition. There is a tiny, light "CS" stamped on one side of the blade. We believe the sword may have been made by E.J. Johntson of Macon, GA, based on input we have received. The scabbard is that of a Union short artillery sword and fits very nicely. The sword measures overall from tip to tip: 24.5" The blade measures: 19" The hilt measures: 5.5" The scabbard measures: 19.75" Please enlarge pics for detail. DO NOT USE EBAY CHECKOUT.
