VINTAGE GALVANIZED MILK / EGG CARRIER BOX WITH HANDEL - $50 - (Morganton, GA)

I love this vintage metal carrying box. I am not sure if it is for milk or eggs. I wish I new more about it, it does not have any markings. It has lots of wear and use and also has been spray painted gold on the outside. The box measures 13 1/2 by 9 inches, and is 8 inches tall.
