Palau Storyboard Legend of Ngemelis Sea Turtle Carved Wood Circa 1980's - $50 - (Healdsburg, CA)

Circa 1980's carved wood Palau storyboard depicting the legend of Ngemelis explaining the discovery of the egg laying cycle of the sea turtle. Measures 24 1/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches by 7/8 inch. On the back is a paper description of the legend and an original Christmas card attached. It appears this was a gift from a student from Palau attending Lassen College in Susanville California in the early 1980's. The board is not signed or otherwise dated. Very minor wear. No cracks, splits, or chips. Paper legend on back has some tears and holes as seen in photos. Please send me a message if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
