Registered Veterinary Technicians - (Yukon, OK)

BluePearl Oklahoma City, formerly Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Hospital (VECCA) and the Veterinary Surgery Center (VSC), is seeking qualified, registered veterinary technicians for our surgery department. The perfect applicant would be a team member and must be proficient in anesthesia while supporting the clinician with patient care. Schedule: Monday - Friday 10a-7p Requirements: Must have a min of 2 yrs' background in a veterinary hospital as a RVT. Specialty or emergency background wanted. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have strong communication abilities and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters Perform radiographs Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments Inducing and monitoring anesthesia in a sterile environment Operating room preparation Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients
