This 2004 X-1 professional juicer was used for 5 years to stress-test medical equipment for St. Jude Medical in St. Paul, Minnesota, then was put into storage. Our cold-pressed juice business purchased the X-1 in 2014 and used it for several years to make juice two or three times a week. It worked consistently without any issues, but as our business grew, we upgraded to a third-generation X-1 in early 2016. St. Jude Medical removed the grinder attachment from this machine, so you would need to purchase a stand-alone grinder, or use a heavy-duty cold-press juicer like the Norwalk for grinding. All accessories included with the 2004 X-1 are still available from Goodnature, the machine's maker. Our X-1 comes with 2 press racks, a juice bucket with spout and lid, a juice tray, and a mesh press bag. Also included is a custom plexiglass cover designed by St. Jude Medical to keep the pressing plates clean when not in use.
