Antique 1912 Baker Vawter installment loan ledger Dime Savings and Loan Binder - $179 - (Mason, OH)

This patent date for this Unique, Rare Metal Binder is the year 1912. It is a Baker-Vawter Binder - Number 64, style 9 1/2 x 12 made for the purpose of being use as an Accounting / Installment loan ledger. Used by "The Dime Savings and Loan Company" It has a mechanical metal binder which appears complex*. The corners have felt circular covers in which one is slightly torn (see photo). Dimensions:size: approximately 13.5" x 10.25" x 3.25"weight: approximately 5 1/2 lbs. *It does not have a Key and it has not been tested if the metal binding could actually be opened.
