The Facilities Engineer II is responsible for managing facility space, planning and facility related projects for manufacturing, lab, office and warehouse areas by defining technical user qualifications; designing architectural, interior, engineering and equipment layouts; and developing and managing project schedules and budgets. What is the work you will be doing? * Plans and designs interior and exterior plans for remodeling, relocation, minor construction, and manufacturing equipment installation projects which include feasibility studies, programming, development of design, selection of furniture, furnishings, and equipment. * Initiates programming with department heads to determine needs and is responsible for conferring with departments, engineering personnel and managers to determine functional and spatial qualifications for projects.
