ANTIQUE BLACK FORREST STAG DEER SHELF - $475 - (Zanesville, OH)
This is a nice carving of the deer chest and head. Great detail. This head is mounted on a plaque featuring cut out of leaves and above the antlers a shield. A shelf on top braced against the plaque with two supports. The head of the deer has long antlers that measures 4 3/4" in length. The deer ears are detailed with cuts and his chest is carved out to look like his hair. The deer head counting the antlers measures 9 1/2" tall by 4 3/4" wide. The overall measurements of this display shelf is 12 3/16" tall by 15 7/8" wide. There are two metal loops on top for hanging. In good condition. Shows normal wear and patina.
