VINTAGE LIDDED COPPER & BRASS,/W -SLIDING LID,&SPRING LOADED BUTTON DESIGNED LID - $20 - (Olpe, KS)

Antique copper, & brass spring loaded lid , however the lid opens slowly because of age, and use over the years. It has a very ornate lid /With a etched pattern . It only has one handle on one side, it also is very ornate looking. It weighs about 1 pound, measures 2.5"X 4" ,& is 2" tall. I have no idea what it was used for, i got it at an estate sale that had many dated items from the 1890's. This is a very unique box, & great collectible. Please pay upon winning bid,thank you.
