An appraisal was done on the engagement ring ONLY that includes the following information:"Set with (14) Hearts and Arrows cut diamonds all matching in color H and clarity VS2 total diamond weight on side stone is .49 ctw." As the wedding band matches the engagement ring (both stamped 'Malakan' and the channel-set diamonds align), we estimate that the total carat weight for both rings (total of 29 diamonds) is just over 1 carat. The two rings together weigh 7.5 grams. A 1.22ct round brilliant diamond was professionally removed from the 4-prong setting, so the integrity of the main setting is still very much intact.
