ENGLISH STERLING ENTREE DISH SET FAMILY CREST 1807 154 OUNCES We are pleased to offer this important set of George III sterling silver entree dishes. Selling 40 years collected 18th and 19th century British silver. Family crest. Raised fox (?) with outstretched paw. From Richard Cooke in 1807. Classic tapering form with petal gadroon trim. High dome covers with panel fluting band. Leaf crown crossed branch finial, set in gadroon edge oval base. Original fasteners. George III entree dishes 12 1/4 inches by 8 1/2 inches 154 standard ounces. Hallmarked as shown to base, cover and finial. In excellent condition. Retains original detail. Stands firm on table. Mild wear and scattered tiny dints. Massachusetts residents are subject to sales tax. -
