Antique Irish Ebony Ladies Walking Stick or Cane w/ Handworked .925 & Shamrocks - $2,500 - (Richmond, VA)

This unbelievably beautiful ebony ladies cane came from an estate auction of a longtime Western Illinois collector. It is appealing, desirable & very collectible. The maker is unknown. There are no visible makers marks. It has an overall length of 35”. It has a design of beautiful handworked .925 silver inlay shamrocks & 4 leaf clovers. The design encirlces the shaft. A standard chemical comparison test was performed & it held at .925. The shaft is ebony [probably cut from a large block vs. being bent] and it is showing some minor vintage wear. The original German silver tip is securely attached. This is a good, sturdy daily user with some minor wear and nicks in its finish. These issues are minor. They do not detract from the overall appeal & desirability of this antique cane. This will make a great addition to any serious collection. The photos are an important part of the description.
