Magnificent and rare. Vintage 25 piece placemat set, densely handworked with elaborate florals in fine beauvais stitch - graceful sculpture on rustic linen. Assuredly French in origin. Perfect for a French country wedding, or just about anything at all. This set is spectacular. The 12 placemats measure approx 12.5 x 19 inches, the 12 napkins approx 17.5 x 17.5, and the table runner 16.5 x 48 inches. Cream colored embroidery on natural linen, with pretty picot embellishments along the edges. Excellent condition, never used. Hand laundered, bright and clean - table ready. This set looks incredible.
