Cosmetically the guitar is worn like an old vintage Stratocaster should be. Normal players wear with original frets in very good condition with plenty of life to them. A truly fantastic slab board clay dot Stratocaster. This guitar is all original (including the original whammy bar) with the exception of replaced period correct tuning keys. The original orange/rust color interior case is in very good condition and has working latches. The back plate serial number is “72336”. The neck plate serial dates this to a 1962 but all the pencil marks are 12/61. At the time of picturing the neck and body dates we believe it was the first time the neck and body were taken apart. The D shaped Neck is straight and true with nice players action, measures 1 11/16th" at the nut. Body has no modifications or extra routes. Electronics all date to late 1961 and solder is unbroken.
