Gorgeous 6 yr old Bay TB Gelding - $15,000 - (Aberdeen, NC)
Marshall is a lovely coming 6 yr old w stunning uphill conformation, clean legs & cute expression, out of Congrats, AP Indy. Lightly raced as 3 yr old , retired sound frm track Dec'14. I purchased him in April '15 as a jumper/event prospect (prepurchase w clean xrays; has had no lameness issues since I have owned him.All veterinarian records avail for inspection). Over the past 2 years, after giving him down time from his life on the track, Marshall has been a fun, young partner for both my trainer. Alex Martone and myself, a 65 yr old AA. This past year, he &I earned NCDCTA HOY in Maiden Eventing. He and I also earned Year End "Res Champion TIP"(Thoroughbred Incentive Prgm) for the War Horse Event Series@ the Carolina Horse Park. I have found all horses have their favorite area in which they excel and, for Marshall, it would have to be in stadium jumping! Altho he has compiled a clean xc record, and has earned a 22 in Dressage, his heart seems to be in the jumper ring.
