CIS/Quintax 5 Axis Router - $44,500 - (Akron, OH)
CIS Machine *Built in 1999 by Canton Industrial Systems – This company was bought by Quintax in 2000.(250,000.00) *The machine was built for Badger Pattern in Wisconsin. They did not feel that it was heavy duty enough so they tore it down to the last bolt and reinforced everything. The table was all bolted and welded together. New Carriage casting was made, etc… - Investment - $125,000.00. *Badger went out of business in approx. 2006. *We have run the machine ever since. *We invested into a new machine because we need more speed and larger cutting envelope. *We have replaced MOST of the parts on this machine over the last 10 years. *2014 – new Fagor 8055 controller and complete retrofit. *2015 – New Spindle *2016 – 2 servos rebuilt. *2016 – all new bearings on table rails. **The only thing that needs fixed right now that I know of is the B Servo needs rebuilt. It will not hold the head still on the B axis. We have had the machine busy for the last 6 months and have not had an opportunity to shut it down for a week to get it fixed. The rebuilt on a servo is $2,500 - $3,200.00. We have been running it with a brace on the B axis. Basically we take the brace off put it on an angle and then brace it up again. We only cut 3+2. Not full 5 axis. Buyer must hire rigging company to load at our facility.
