VINTAGE 16" COCA COLA SODA WHITE “SPRITE” BUTTON SIGN PAPER ON EDGE UNFINDABLE - $795 - (Blairsville, GA)
While it’s not uncommon to find a white button with an image of a coke bottle, finding one with a bottle of Sprite is a true rarity. This beautiful white button with the green bottle of Sprite is without a doubt one of the more collectable of any white button. This button has the great image of a hand holding a bottle of Sprite. These buttons were recently found at a Coca Cola sub-station. Note that this is a painted button with an applied decal image from Coca Cola. These buttons were made by Allen Morrison Sign Company and in fact more collectable than the common painted buttons. As the images show, even though this button never seen its first day of advertising because it still has its packing paper stuck to the edge, it has some aging and minor rust on its outer edge where the buttons sat in a damp moist environment for 40-50 years. While the field of the button is in nice condition the decal has a few aging errors, regardless once you hand this up it looks remarkable for being 60 years old.
