Invasive Buckthorn Removal Workshop - N.A. - (Sarona, WI)

Wednesday, April 19 9:00am - 12:00pm Common and glossy buckthorn are invasive species found throughout Wisconsin. These shrubs destroy wildlife habitat and out-compete native plants that we need for a stable and healthy ecosystem. During this educational workshop, there will be a discussion about the plant's history, environmental impacts, and control methods. Participants will gain experience with hands-on herbicide application while helping control buckthorn at Hunt Hill. Please dress for the weather and be prepared to spend time outdoors.
