Overview Reporting to the Associate Director for On-line Education, the Instructional Designer (ID) is a key member of a team at The McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning that designs on-line and blended modules and courses. Responsibilities With a solid understanding of student-centered pedagogy, on-line learning platforms, and instructional technologies, the Instructional Designer plays a key role in the development, design, implementation, and support of on-line projects. In particular, the ID partners with faculty, graduate students, and McGraw staff to create on-line teaching materials, including engaging content pages, individual and group activities, interactive assignments, and tutorials. Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the ID is a project manager for on-line and blended course projects.
