The Blackmagic Design Decklink Duo allows you to capture two live video feeds at the same time using an apporpriately configured Windows PC or Macintosh and the appropriate number of input licenses. The BMD-BDLKDUO device uses two HD-SDI inputs for optimal video performance and processing. There are also two HD-SDI outputs for viewing video footage live on professional monitors or video switchers. When using a Windows PC, use the PCie interface to plug into an available slot in the computer. When using a Mac, use an expansion chassis and connect to the computer using a Thunderbolt cable. Is configuraable for SD and HD, PAL or NTSC, 720p, 1080i. The SDI connections also work with audio inputs and digital processing. Power for the device is drawn directly from the computer or expansion chassis. To connect to video devices or tape decks the user will need their own BNC cables.
