Latch works well M.K. Goetz Brewing Co. was founded in St. Joseph in 1859, ramping up production to an unbelievable 130,000 barrels in the early 1900s with distribution nationwide. When Prohibition hit, the demand was even greater, so Goetz built a second brewery in Kansas City to keep up with the demand. Rare treasure good for Christmas Present
