For sale is a 1942 Jefferson Nickel Type 2 Graded PR68 by PCGS. Iridescent colors emerge from the smoothly lustrous surfaces of this Superb Gem Type Two war nickel. Shades of lemon-yellow, violet, green, and pale-blue glow interchangeably depending on the angle of view. The reverse is brilliant. Both sides display razor-sharp devices with nearly full details across the mark-free fields and motifs. PCGS reports just one numerically finer example.
