6 yr old Flaxen main tail Rocky Mount Appaloosa - $1,000 - (Martin, GA)

gaited I recently bought this mare as a Christmas present for me and the kids, but she is a forward moving gaited horse. Too forward for my beginner kids. I rode her at Watson Mills Bridge for 2 1 2 hr, she has a motor and is gaited with an excellent head on her shoulders. She never refused or spooked only snorted at a few things and could have cared less about the deer we saw. Just needs some wet saddle pads could be an excellent endurance mount. I have been doing ground work and desensitization since I ve had her to include a pool noodle, a deflated pool float and a leaf blower. She never moved a hoof even when we gassed the leaf blower and blew it from her ears on down. She will flex both ways, break at the poll, drop her head, and back, doing very well with standing for mount and dismount.14.0 14.1 hands well built with stunning flaxen mane and tail and a light dorsal stripe. Sire was a registered Rocky Mountain and dam was a blanket app. Nice black hooves. Current coggins.
