SYSTEM LAYOUT DESIGNER Hollister-Whitney Elevator Corp, a leading manufacturer of passenger and freight elevator equipment, has an immediate full time opening for a System Layout Designer to join their Engineering Team. Key responsibilities: Responsible for designing and creating System Layout Drawings which represent principal elevator equipment arrangements for customer approval, final engineering, and for field installation reference. Specific Duties: Review and interpret Sales Orders, Specifications, Field Surveys, Architectural / Structural Drawings, and Mechanical Part / Assembly Drawings. Utilize AutoCAD to design 2D System Layout Drawings showing code-compliant elevator equipment arrangements. Interact with customers to effectively discuss and resolve design issues.
