SUMMARY:Directly supervises all Maintenance Associates on the respective shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Assignments include training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and providing feedback; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises maintenance technicians to ensure repairs are done safely, efficiently and completely. Communicates and coordinates need for any follow-up work to all shifts and staff functions.Maintains responsibility for overseeing maintenance of acceptable standards of sanitation within the plant and its immediate surroundings outside perimeters of operation.Maintains open communications between adjoining shift supervision to ensure smooth transition from shift to shift.
