Elegant Navajo Man/Woman Inlaid Watch Tiger's Eye - Desert Jasper This elegant Navajo made inlaid watch with Tiger's Eye, Desert Jasper & Black Onyx was produced in Gallup, New Mexico by a Native American artisan who signs his work "Francisco". I am very familiar with the silver shop that designs and creates this work and most of the artisans are from the Navajo reservation which is just over the state line to the west of Gallup. The tips are sterling silver and inlaid with Tiger's Eye, Desert Jasper and Black Onyx. The tips measure 1" at the widest by 1 1/4" long. It is a truly stunning watch! One thing I've noticed about Tiger's Eye is that even though it is set in silver, it still looks great with gold jewelry because of its golden tones. The watch face is quartz (battery run), not a notable brand name. The band is stretchable stainless steel. The band is 3 1/2" long without being stretched. Any jeweler can shorten it for a very nominal fee. NOTE: Unfortunately the battery has run down and needs to be replaced. I no longer have the ability to replace it but it should cost only $5 to have it done. I do guarantee it to run with a new battery in it. While watches this size are traditionally made for a man, we do have many women customers who prefer and buy a larger watch like this one.We have dealt in authentic Native American made jewelry for several decades and have a 100% Positive Feedback.Please examine the photographs carefully.
