Ray Troll Hand-Woven Wool Rug "Salmon River" - $7,500 - (Juneau, AK)

This Ray Troll hand woven rug "Salmon River" is in good condition, having only ever been hung on a wall and used as a very large tapestry. Artist's signature is on the label, and this rug is only one of two that were made - so it is extremely rare. Hand woven in Nepal (through Carl T. Chew Rugs), with material (wool) that is tough and durable so that it can easily take the wear and tear of being used as a rug on the floor for many, many years. This rug measures 9' 5" x 6' 5", and currently has a professional Velcro support system for wall mounting. Very beautiful, and unique. Buyer to arrange for shipping and buyer to pay actual shipping costs (approximately 80lbs - shipping cost listed not applicable), "From his treetop studio, high above the Tongass Narrows in Ketchikan, Alaska, Ray Troll draws and paints fishy images that migrate into museums and onto cards. His unique blend of art and science has been featured in museum displays at the Smithsonian, Seattle's Burke Museum, the Alaska State Museum in Juneau, and the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, among others."
