They are approximately 5 3/4 of an inch in diameter. There are no chips or scratches on the plates. It also comes with a reusable calendar with movable tiles for the date. There are also tiles for holidays and special occasions. The certificates of authenticity are included for all 12 plates, as well as a box with tray to store the individual plates that are not being displayed. It comes complete with everything in photos.
