The piece is beautifully carved and shows a deep affection for the creatures and the craft. The tray is 9 1/2” long by 6 1/2” wide and 1” deep (1 3/8” high altogether). The four calves are all different. The work is unsigned as far as I can tell; but it is clear that the artist has some skills.
