Vintage Sadler English Country Teapot Pattern #4437 Tudor House Henry VIII - $40 - (Encino, CA)
This vintage teapot by English china maker James Sadler is part of the series called English Country Houses. This teapot is titled "Tutor House" Built during the reign of Henry Vlll 1509-1547 and was made in Staffordshire England as stamped on the base. It is in excellent unused condition, having been given from a fastidious collector, my 93 year old neighbor. The teapot measures approximately 6" x 8.5". MOST OF THE ITEMS WE SELL ARE FROM OUR OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION. ALL OF THESE ITEMS HAVE BEEN IN STORAGE FROM 20 TO 50 YEARS. WE ARE NOT EXPERTS ON ALL OF THESE ITEMS, BUT WE DO OUR BEST TO DESCRIBE THEM SINCE THEY BELONGED TO US PERSONALLY.
