1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar, BB-108, B-13, Extremely Fine, certified by ANACS as a Details coin for minor "graffiti". Perhaps "scratched" would be more accurate, as there is an "X" in the right Obverse field. This is quite old and well toned over, suggesting that this may have been applied in the 19th Century - it is much less evident when the coin is viewed in person. Otherwise original and problem free; the "lines" visible across Liberty's ear area are Mint-applied adjustment marks typical of the series. This relatively minor issue allows us to discount this attractive, historic U. S. Type coin.
