Electronics Technician II - ATC Radar (STAR-2000/PAR-2000) - (Sumter, SC)

Basic qualifications This position is defined as Strategic Review - Aligned to IS&GS. US citizen with a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance (selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility qualifications for access to classified details). Min of 2 (2) years of hands-on background in electronics repair, maintenance and testing air traffic control (ATC) surveillance radar systems Must be a graduate of a high-school or a trade school & possess valid US driver's license with photo. Min of 3 (3) years of hands-on background performing preventive maintenance on ATC radar systems and related equipment, inspecting equipment at specified intervals determining operational status, replacing defective components, performing operational checks, and maintaining inspection and maintenance records.
