Louis would do best with an experienced guineapig owner because he is quite a jumpy boy-- when he is especially nervous he may nip. He doesn't like to be held by new people, so his new owner will need to be patient and very gentle and move slowly with him. Sometimes he is calm when being held, and you can take advantage of these times to reward him with a treat. We recommend that he be adopted to a family without young children, because he doesn't feel confident about being held. Because of his gorgeous long fur he will need to be brushed and trimmed regularly.
