The Buyer/Planner will be integral in establishing and maintaining longterm contracts with suppliers focusing primarily on low-volume, high mix complex machine components and assemblies. Job assignments Maintain MRP systems applicable to the purchasing and production planning activities required for supplier delivery planning and work order management including capacity planning. Analyze qualifications from the MRP and place purchase orders timely to ensure materials availability. Schedule, release, monitor and close work orders to ensure production goals are achieved to meet supplier delivery qualifications in the most efficient manner.
