Genuine antique "County map of Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Dakota, Montana" from New General Atlas published by S Augustus Mitchell Jr in Pennsylvania, 1872. This map shows Dakota before it became North and South Dakota and uses many Indian names. Original hand color outline and washes accentuate counties on this very attractive map. Image is surrounded by a lovely twining grape leaf border. Very good condition with faint age toning. Center fold as issued. Image measures 20 3/8"x 15". NOT A REPRODUCTION!
