1935 Framed Ad Old Dutch Cleanser Lady House Rooms Silhouette Fall Colors Prim - $18 - (Great Bend, KS)
This is an original vintage 1935 Old Dutch Cleanser ad that I have framed. Because the ad was badly damaged at the bottom I framed just the upper portion of the Old Dutch lady "throwing a new light on Housecleaning"...I love her larger than life silhouette and the fall or autumn coloring. I attached a portion of the bottom to the back to show its authenticity. The frame is a "newish" one that I painted black and then distressed it a bit. The ad is totally guaranteed authentic to 1935. Fun primitive look for kitchen, laundry or wherever. The frame is about 11 3/4" x 9 3/4" (x 5/8") and the ad display is 9 3/4" x 7 3/4". It does have glass and there is a sawtooth hanger on the back. Please zoom and enlarge the pictures for a good look. The frame may show a few tiny distress marks that do not show up in the pictures.
