System Administrator (Technical Operations Specialist) - (Norfolk, VA)

Responsibilities: The NWDC Technical Operations Specialist supports the Navy Warfare Development Command's (NWDC) Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program. This involves configuration of the Navy Training Baseline (NTB) and its interfaces to other Navy, Joint, and Coalition Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training systems. The NTB contains the Navy's core simulation application Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) as well as other common simulation tools and interfaces such as the Joint-BUS (JBUS). The NWDC engineering staff provides systems engineering solutions for the integration of NCTE live, virtual and constructive simulation technologies. These technologies are used to support US Fleet Forces (USFF), Numbered Fleets, COCOM, and MOC training and certification requirements.
