Beautiful Vintage Hamms Beer Scene-o-Rama Rotating Scroll Excellent Condition - $1,200 - (Downers Grove, IL)

Up for sale is this original Hamm’s Scene-o-Rama. I've owned this sign since 1971 and my father owned it before then. Other than the yellow paint spots on the top of the sign, the sign is in excellent original condition. When you switch the sign on using the in-line switch, the two 14" fluorescent lights blink a couple of times and then illuminate the beautiful moving scene. The motor runs reliably and is very quiet. The clear plastic cover is shows a light scratch or two, but otherwise, it is crystal-clear. The rotating scene is without blemish or tear and moves smoothly. The plastic case shows no cracks or chips, and is without blemish except for the paint spots on the top of the case. I have not attempted to remove or clean those paint spots. The back of the sign shows normal wear from being mounted on walls. The two labels near the line cord are intact. When I ship the sign to you, I will remove the light bulbs and pack them separately. I do not want them to break in-transit. Also, I will have the sign professionally packed and I will be shipping by UPS Ground. I will only charge you the actual expense to pack and ship the sign. You will not be responsible for any amount over $100 for shipping and packing, and if it's less, I will refund the excess to you. I will e-mail you a copy of the receipt. Finally, you can pick up the sign personally from me and save the shipping charges.
