Licensed/Experienced Veterinary Technicians - (Tacoma, WA)

BluePearl Veterinary Partners Tacoma, formerly Puget Sound Veterinary Referral Center , is currently seeking full-time,experienced veterinary technicians for swings,nights and overnight shifts.The ideal candidate would have a passion for emergency medicine and be able to work in a high energy environment. Schedule: TBD Requirements: Preferred to be licensed in the State of Washington or license eligible, but will consider background. A min of 1 " 2 years background in a veterinary hospital, with emergency preferred. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have outstanding communication abilities and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters Perform CPR Perform radiographs Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments Anesthesia monitoring Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients Benefits: Competitive wages
