Resources for Human Development (www.rhd.org) is a comprehensive, nonprofit, social service organization. RHD currently oversees and supports more than 160 locally managed human service programs in fourteen states. RHD's mission is to empower people as they build the highest level of independence possible, building better lives for themselves, their families and their communities. Resources for Human Development is seeking to hire Recovery Support Specialists to work directly with individuals dually diagnosed with severe and pervasive mental illness living in the Bellevue and West View areas of Pittsburgh. RSS staff are responsible for the support and enhancement of the quality of life of individuals served, by assisting in day-to-day activities that promote positive outcomes.
