Central Supply / Mailroom Clerk - Supply Chain (Fairfield) (Full Time/Days) - (Fairfield, CA)

This job mandates the clerk to count, restock, and distribute supplies to par locations within the Fairfield facility and patient care areas using the Lawson handheld computer and/or manual counting. The Clerk is responsible for de-casing supplies, rotating stock and checking for out dates. The incumbent responds to requests for special patient supply items by communicating these requests to the Purchasing Department. The incumbent will issue and charge for supplies by inputting the data into the Lawson Materials Management System. Performances require general mailroom functions including daily-metered postings, sorting, preparation, and delivery of mail and supplies. On a daily basis, ensures that express/priority mail is completed correctly and picked up and/or received. Provides support to staff regarding forms, faxing and copying.
